November 4 - 8

Shewfelt 7-9 : This week, students learned a new game called Tchoukball! This is a fun and fast paced game that combines elements of handball, volleyball and squash. Students must score a point by bouncing the ball off of a trampoline-styled net. Points are awarded when the ball hits the ground (like volleyball) before the opposite team catches it. This game is not about opponent vs. opponent which is a nice change for most students.

Feke 9.1: Students have been building their fitness capacity this week. Kettle bells, push ups and burpies galore! Next week we will be playing Tchoukball in the main gym.

Hidalgo 5-2: This week, 5-2 was in my class and we played floor hockey. We practiced passing and shooting the puck and worked on sportsmanship.

Hidalgo 6-9: Students worked on their physical fitness this week and worked out in the fitness centre. They learned different body weight activities they can do at home, as well as, used several different pieces of equipment that were incorporated into fitness circuits.
